Bruce Barnes has over forty years of senior level experience in multiple industry sectors. Among his accomplishments are receiving numerous industry accolades including being recognized as one of America’s most noted CIOs. He remains a frequent speaker and recognized authority in the fields of information technology, “big data”, and business processes.

Outside of his “hands on” approach to the daily requirements of effective business management, Bruce co-founded and leads the nationally acclaimed: “C” level executive series titled the “Digital Solutions Gallery”. Here Bruce facilitates conversations and leads problem solving forums for some of the top business leaders in America.

Throughout corporate America, Bruce is known for his tenacity and “no excuse –no nonsense” approach to planning and successful execution. He brings his experiences and straightforward communication skills to the college classroom as a member of the faculty and staff at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.

Bruce is recognized for his opening remarks, “what’s going on?” whereby he is really known for his true meaning of that question and that is “what did you accomplish so far today”? All things considered outside business, Bruce is all about family and enjoying the gift of life.
